Jazz by the Bay

Rockin’ down Caves Road with Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys

Caves Road Collective will become a swinging dance hall on Saturday 1 June when Perth’s best jazz, rhythm and blues performers, Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys, hit the boards and rock the room!

This band is always a sell-out when they head south and we expect this year to be no different when they bring the best of their repertoire from the 1940s and ‘50s and beyond to this versatile venue. Like the song men from these eras, these gents are showmen and you’ll be guaranteed an unforgettable night.

From 6pm to 9pm expect foot-stompin’ favourites from legends like Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, Jackie Wilson, Sammy Davis Jr, and Louis Prima, delivered by the smooth vocals of Adam Hall and backed by the Playboys’ big bold brass.

Enjoy a jazz-themed dinner menu available for purchase from 5pm, specially-crafted cocktail and the great Black Brewing Co beer, gin, wine and cider offering from Caves Road Collective.

The dining space will be transformed with a substantial dance floor, high wine barrel tables and chairs, casual seating, and lounges for dropping onto between the hits. Wear your dancing shoes as the Playboys sure know how to fill the floor.

Two ticket options are available – general admission for just $35 and VIP lounge for $85, plus booking fees. The VIP experience will include a dedicated lounge bar, dinner canapes from 6pm and a jazz-inspired thirst quencher.

We recommend booking tickets and accommodation early to avoid disappointment as this is a long weekend and the south west will be humming.
